Xcerpt is an Android app I made for sharing links on Twitter. See my previous blog post for more information about how Xcerpt works and how I designed and built it. In this post, I document some of the more notable shows and publications that shared Xcerpt with its audiences.
- All About Android: Episode 235 (skip to 1:46:50) — On October 2015, Gina Trapani, the founder of Lifehacker, recommended Xcerpt. They do a live demo of it, which goes pretty poorly, embarrassingly enough (I did fix all the issues they encountered very quickly though!). Gina heard about Xcerpt on Twitter, recommended by one of her followers. I had a brief conversation with her where I said I thought it was really cool that she heard about my app. I didn’t expect her to promote it on this show! I think this is what got the ball rolling, causing a lot of other publications to also recommend Xcerpt.

- Tested: Google Play App Roundup: Xcerpt for Twitter, Thumb Drift, and Rocketfella — March 2016. The main reason I found this one notable was because this website is run by the Mythbusters, Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman. LOL.
